Jamboard for In-person Collaboration

Jamboard is a collaborative online whiteboard. It gives students lots of creative work space. How do you use Google Jamboard in the classroom?

Jamboard is made for collaboration! You can also share your jams just like you'd share a document or slide presentation. Click the "Share" button and share with individuals and groups or create a shareable link.

Students can interact in jams in lots of ways:

• Students can brainstorm and create in small groups face to face on one device.
• Share an "everyone can edit" link with students in Google Classroom for whole-class collaboration.
• In remote or online settings, students can work together in small groups in the same jam.

Sanitizing YouTube

Did you know there is a way to eliminate ads and suggested videos that may not be appropriate? Then you can even embed these videos in a Google Site or add them to you slides presentation.

Sanitize the Video (screencast)

• Search for the video you want to use
• Add a dash after the “T” in YouTube in a video link
• Copy the new link 

Embedding the Sanitized Video into a Google Site (screencast)

• Copy the sanitized link from YouTube
• In your Google Site, click the "Embed" tool
• Paste the link in the URL link tab

Add the Sanitized Video into Slides Presentation (screencast)

• Open Slides presentation and add text or an image
• Copy the sanitized link from YouTube 
• Select the image or text and hyperlink the snataized link
