Quick and Easy Slide Translation
There is a new add-on in your Google Slides that will help you automatically translate your slides into different languages! We worked with IT to get it installed on all staff accounts automatically. Unfortunately, it is not available for the students at this point due to NYS privacy policies.
Here is how it works:
- Open your Slides Presentation and make a copy of it so that the copy can be translated while keeping your original presentation as is.
- Click Add-ons menu
- Select Translate My Slide
- Click Start a New Translation
- Select the target language
- Click All Slides if you want it to do all of the slides at once
- Click Translate
- Go back through and check your slides as the translation may have shifted text around a bit.
We do not have a paid subscription, however, based on the information from the developer, you get 100 pages per 24 hour period.
